A ship sank far out in the ocean. Many were floating and drowning in the freezing water. One person managed to pull themself into a life boat. That person then pulled others in. As they pulled individuals into the boat, the person said to each, “Now, do as I do and save others”.
This is the right approach - Do as I do.
Core members learn to be teachers. They never make fun of someone who is having difficulty achieving a task. They help everyone become all they can be. The Core groups help not only their team members, but other teams.

Chinle Core groups train at Canyon Family Church in Chinle, AZ.
All those in the Core group training will be practicing Escape & Evasion and Search & Rescue sometime this summer. E & E simulates missionaries who are attempting to evade capture in a dangerous environment while carrying equipment needed to produce a children’s program. The participants must navigate the wash starting by the Holiday Inn in Chinle and ending on the wash behind Canyon Family Church. Hunter/killer teams attempt to capture or eliminate participants before they can get to the finish. The course typically begins around 10 p.m. and finishes by midnight.
